Our superb grapes are harvested from world-class appellations, including California's storied wine country and the acclaimed vineyards of Argentina and Chile.
The grapes are picked when they are fully riped. They are them destemmed and macerated at a cool temperature. Before the fermentation starts we press off the juice and fortify it with a very neutral grape spirit.
It’s hard to believe that this fall will be my twenty first harvest in the Napa Valley. Some of those vintages I remember fondly, others I’d like to forget.
